Each tent has, 1 super king size bed (which can be made up as 2 singles) and 2, 3ft single futons. All have 6” memory foam mattresses and are fully made up ready for you too roll into. They also have a small outbacker, wood burning stove set on a slate hearth – for cooler evenings. We also have included a fire guard, fire extinguisher, hearth tools, fire lighters, kindling and one bag of logs.
(Please be aware the wood burners do run hot! And may not be suitable for small children if left unsupervised).Inside your tent you will find cooking equipment such as, pots, pans, cups, etc, etc.
Side tables, lanterns, tea light chandelier, some solar/battery lighting, coir flooring and the odd sheepskin rug to put your feet on in the morning!
Outside your tent you will have a picnic bench, 2 slate tables with an LPG, 2 ring cooker, a water container and a washing up bowl along with an LPG camping fridge, and a fire pit.
Showers and toilets are around 100 metres away. However we also have portaloos located in the same field, about 30 metres from your tent, (if you’re caught short! LOL)
With all of the above if you don’t fancy cooking you can recharge your own batteries at our lake side café where we offer a wide range of free range breakfasts, Rijo coffee, a varied lunch menu including our own smoked trout specials, homemade cakes and scones and locally made ice cream “savour the flavour”!
We also offer a range of breakfast packs to take away which include sausages, bacon, burgers, eggs and smoked and fresh trout.
The café is open 9-5, 7 days a week.
We are directly adjacent to One planet mountain bike centre, which also has walking routes, an RSBC centre, a great café and bike hire is also available. Also adjacent too us is a laser combat centre great for family fun. We are around 20 minutes from Wrexham, Chester and Llangollen.
We have a bus request stop at our gateway, if you wish to explore and not drive. (The x51 route goes to Wrexham or Ruthin, Denby).
With views to die for, and a wealth of activities available locally, plenty of places to visit along with our variety of fishing on site. There is loads to do over a weekend break or a longer holiday.
Or, if you wish to chill and watch the world go by, take in the views, wildlife or even the stars at night, then we have the place!
We have positioned these 2 tents to give you your own private space within our site and reasonable access to our facilities.
Along with the tents we also have a small shepherds hut that sleeps 4 and has similar facilities. It has its own private garden – cute and beju but suitable for any time of the season.
Also throughout the summer we are offering 2 of last season tents which are a available as bare units to bring your own gear. These tents are in there own space with picnic benches, fire pit, and a cooking station.
(Some marking to the canvas but nothing to spoil your enjoyment and both are perfectly dry and sound).

These prices include up to 2 adults and 2 children under the age of 12. Please be aware we do not allow commercial vehicles sign written vehicles converted psvs etc. ( if you are any doubt please discuss before making your booking to avoid disappointed.

Adults £10 per night. Children under 12 £5 per night. All dogs charged at £1 per night.
As a small friendly team we will always endeavour to give you a great experience whatever your passion, but we are in the countryside which dos so me with some issues to be aware of – wildlife, rabbits holes, mole hills, midges, goose poo! Ditches barbed wire fences, some deep water around the lakes and poor mobile signal! Most of these minor risks just require common sense. As a family friendly place we hope you would respect the efforts we make and show respect to others using our site. We could fill the place with signs full of rules and regulations, but here is just some basics to consider;
