What a fish-off that was, a very hectic first half and then very difficult during the afternoon. The eventual senior winner was grant Berkley and the junior winner was Elis Franklin, well done to both competitors and good luck for the future, may we, at this time, give a big thank you to John Rogers’s family for kindly giving out the awards, may I also give a massive thank you to Llandegla fishery’s owner and chef extraordinaire Simon, for putting on the most fabulous lunch of roast beef, roast pork and a fantastic mixture of vegetables (all perfectly cooked) and for afters….apple pie and fresh cream, (no wonder the fishing was difficult after eating all that ha ha)

Here is a picture of our latest additions! 14 Indian Runner Ducklings causing mayhem in the pen. We also have pigs, rabbits and plenty of fish to feed so come and have a look.

Our new shower block for Caravanners/Campers is now up and cooking with two how showers and washing up facilities now available. We have worked really hard to make the shower block as good as it can be (located down by the cafe and main toilets) so we hope you are happy with it.

When you arrive, we will give you a code for the security bolts on the shower doors (this code will be changed every 24 hours)

After a fantastic Easter weekend Llandegla Fishery & Cafe, we have decided to give away a **Coarse Fishing Season Ticket**. The winner will be the first person to catch a 20lb+ Carp from our Coarse Lake.

Not only will you get a Coarse Season Ticket, but we will make sure you don’t go home hungry afterwards as we will cook you up a *Large Ultimate Breakfast* to replenish your muscles after what we are sure will be a tiring fight.

We had an 18.5lb Common Carp caught a couple of weeks ago so it will not be long before somebody nets a 20lb+ fish.

We are busy perfecting our recipe for our very own smoked trout pate. We are already selling it in the cafe. It’s so popular, our plan is to soon offer the pate packaged to take away too.

The youngest member of our team, George (age 4), is very excited that we are soon to be raising rare breed pigs here at the fishery. The wooden pig ark is built. Come and welcome them once they are with us.
